We’re Off and Running

This has been a busy week, but it has been full of blessings. Thanks to all who participated in the 24 hours of prayer. It has been great to receive your comments and emails. Most encouraging were the words you heard in your time of listening. There were some common themes, and it seems like God has affirmed some things to us through your prayers as well.

Our first gathering went well as we were joined by one other family and a grad student who are eager to “dream” with us. One thing is clear to me…we have a long way to go, but it is a journey filled with possibilities. Please continue to pray throughout this month that God can further develop the vision for this church through our times together.

Our prayer requests are becoming less generic as we move forward, and so I’m going to primarily be sending out prayer requests to our email group. (We will still be posting some updates here about how things are going.) Let me know via the Contact page if you would like to receive those emails every 2-4 weeks.
